We went to Maker Festival Toronto with no expectations – after all, it’s a fun, free space for kids of all ages to build stuff and check out cool technology…
But we were delightfully, surprised by the rabid interest in MIGHTYmacro and our robotic imaging system at work zooming to macro-capture a butterfly. Parents and older kids were rapt and had scores of great questions for us at our booth at the Toronto Reference Library downtown. Thousands of citizens poured into the space over the two days last weekend. I had no time to eat or even visit the washroom 9 am to closing time at 5 pm, both Saturday and Sunday!
We were named as a Innovator finalist by Mako Design + Invent as well at the show! We’ll definitely be back there next year!
